September 2025

September 1st
Crews were dispatched to assist Upland Fire Company (57) for an investigation, reported to be an odor of paint thinner throughout the residence. Upon arrival crews from 45 and 57 investigated. Call for Chester City Fire Company, Station 82, was requested for an additional meter and was found to be a freon leak in the residence. Homeowner was advised to get a  HVAC/Maintenance person to service the issue and companies were made available.
September 3rd
Crews were dispatched to assist Upland Fire Company (57) for a brush fire at Bristol Lord Field out front of the borough office. Upon arrival crew was advised to go into service with a booster line to extinguish the fire on the hill in the field. Upon the fire being extinguished all crews were made available.
September 4th
Company was dispatched for 2 medical calls in the borough. First was a cardiac emergency and the second was a call for a subject down in the roadway. Crews responded to both emergencies performing BLS Care and assisting the EMS crew once they arrived on scene.
September 5th
Crews were dispatched for a medical call of a nature unknown in the borough. The crew responded and was on scene for over an hour assisting EMS and PD.
September 6th
Crews were dispatched to assist Upland Fire Company (57) and EMS for a cardiac arrest in Upland Borough Crews responded and were on scene for about an hour.
September 9th
Crews were dispatched for a fire alarm in the borough. Crews from Upland Fire Company (57) assisted at the scene with investigation. Call was determined to be a faulty detector. Resident was advised to replace the detector and crews were made available.

Crews were also dispatched to assist Upland Fire Company (57) later in the night with a cardiac arrest. Crew assisted at the scene for approximately 40 minutes,
September 10th
Crews responded to two medical calls and a fire alarm. First call was a medical alarm in the borough. Second call was for a cardiac arrest in Upland Borough. Crew responded and assisted Upland Fire Company (57) and EMS. Crews assisted EMS with CPR. Crew was on scene for about 40 minutes then made available by EMS.

Crews were also dispatched for a fire alarm in Upland Borough. Crews from Upland Fire Company (57), Parkside Fire Company (45), and Brookhaven Fire Company (52) were dispatched to a commercial business in the borough for a fire alarm. Upon arrival TAC 45 staged at the hydrant at the entrance to the shopping center. Response was held to companies 57 and 45 for the investigation. No reason for the activation found.
September 11th
The officers and members of Parkside Fire Company took the time to remember and honor the victims of 9/11.
September 15th
Crews were dispatched to cover the City of Chester Fire Department as they operated on a working building fire in the city. Crews covered the city from Station 82 with no responses. Crew covered for over 2 hours.

Crews were dispatched later in the day to Upland Borough to assist Upland Fire Company (57) and EMS for lifting assistance. Crews were on scene for approximately 20 minutes. 
September 16th
Crews responded to three emergencies, an fire alarm in Upland Borough and 2 calls in Parkside Borough.

The first call crews were dispatched for a fire alarm in Upland Borough. Crews from Upland Fire Company (57), Parkside Fire Company (45), and Brookhaven Fire Company (52) were dispatched to a residential fire alarm. Upon arrival all units were cancelled, no FD services needed. Call was determined to be burnt food.

Second call crews were dispatched for a medical call, change in mental status, in the borough. Crews responded and assisted EMS and were on scene for about 15 minutes.

Third call crew was dispatched to assist PD and resident for a lockout. Upon arrival the resident had gained access to the home and the company was made available.
September 18th
Crews stood by the station to staff TAC 45 for the 6th District Duty Engine from 18:00-22:00

Later that night crews were dispatched to a residence for a unconscious person. Crews responded and assisted EMS for approximately 20minutes.
